DESCRIPTION:Caili Quan – Nichos Project \nEAC’s Winter-Spring season and 2022 Voces Series comes to an exciting close with the world premiere of a new dance work by acclaimed choreographer and former BalletX dancer\, Caili Quan\, inspired by stories from neighborhood youth and their families\, in collaboration with EAC Artist-In-Residence\, Tanaquil Marquez\, and visual artist\, Cesar Viveros. \nThe Nichos Community Project is a multidisciplinary interactive cultural piece of the Mexican American community in Philadelphia. Through workshops and oral histories led by acclaimed actor/director\, Tanaquil Márquez\, Nichos will explore; la migra\, chicano culture\, la familia\, Nahuatl and Mexican heritage. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a new way to experience ballet. Behind the Stage Door is an interactive multimedia performance that explores the “invisible” forces that bring the ballet to life. A multi-part experience\, the program includes original musical composition\, live dance\, film\, sculpture and multimedia stage design to illuminate the untold stories that are integral to Philadelphia Ballet. \nPhiladelphia Ballet II performs new choreography by Maria Konrad\, Gary Jeter\, Da’Von Doane\, and Zecheng Liang to original music composed by John B.
