The works of Piazzolla’s mentors and peers\, such as Anibal Troilo\, Alberto Ginastera\, Béla Bartók\, and Duke Ellington\, will be performed to show the music and the ideas that influenced him as a composer. DESCRIPTION:iVivelo! is a journey through a wide diversity of rhythms and traditions that gave rise to the Son Jarocho genre in the Mexican State of Veracruz. \nThis unique art form began to develop during the Spanish Colonization of the region: pre-hispanic dance traditions\, sacred-profane syncretism\, indigenous instruments\, clothing\, and symbolism mixed with African influence from Spanish slaves in dance\, storytelling\, and music. \nThis all mixed together makes ¡Vívelo! – an experience for all ages and audiences to enjoy this contemporary version of Son Jarocho while still distinguishing its essence and traditional characteristics. \nWATCH HERE: https://youtu.be/wlstzjfnXQo\n______________________________________________________________________________________ \nVIRTUAL LATINO ARTS FESTIVAL  \nEsperanza Arts Center presents our first Virtual Latino Arts Festival\, celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with streamed performances by Latino artists and traditions from around the world.
