House Rules

At Esperanza, we are guided by our core values or faith, excellence, and integrity. As our guests, we hope that you will help us exemplify those values by following the house rules listed below:

  • Please turn off or silence all electronic devices before entering the gallery or the start of the show.
  • Food and drink are not allowed inside the theater.
  • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere in the Teatro or on the Esperanza campus.
  • If you need to leave during a performance, and are seated on the right side of the hall, as quietly as possible please walk up the right aisle, across the back row, and down the left aisle.
  • Out of respect for the performers and fellow audience members, please remain silent unless encouraged to join in, and refrain from using offensive language or obscene gestures.
  • Please do not use flash photography, and refrain from using large electronics (such as an iPad) for photography during the show.
  • If seats are not assigned, please make room for your neighbors by sitting toward the center of the row and not leaving open seats.
  • Please remain seated during the entirety of the performance. During some shows, artists may encourage you to stand immediately in front of your seat, during these times please be respectful of others around you and avoid blocking the view of fellow guests.
  • Guests are encouraged to report inappropriate or offensive behavior to a Guest Services Associate, Usher, Security Officer, or Patron Services Manager.
  • Do not block aisles or occupy a seat for which you do not possess a valid ticket.
  • We love animals as much as you do, however only service animals are permitted in the Theater and the Esperanza campus.
