iVivelo! is a journey through a wide diversity of rhythms and traditions that gave rise to the Son Jarocho genre in the Mexican State of Veracruz.

This unique art form began to develop during the Spanish Colonization of the region: pre-hispanic dance traditions, sacred-profane syncretism, indigenous instruments, clothing, and symbolism mixed with African influence from Spanish slaves in dance, storytelling, and music.

This all mixed together makes ¡Vívelo! – an experience for all ages and audiences to enjoy this contemporary version of Son Jarocho while still distinguishing its essence and traditional characteristics.
